Our exercise and yoga classes are designed to work to all levels of experience. We will assess you in advance of booking so we can tailor the course according to each individual need. The menu for the first two days is focused on optimum nutrition while cutting out toxins such as refined sugars, caffeine, alcohol, meat and dairy to give your digestive system a chance to cleanse. This is not about starving, and calorie counting: the food on the first two days is delicious and plentiful but nutritious. Classes on nutrition and healthy eating will give you the knowledge you need to integrate healthier eating habits into your lifestyle. Kitchen classes will teach you to prepare delicious healthy dishes.
During the two days of fasting you will consume organic fruit and vegetable juices, barley grass and vegetable broth to provide you with the vitamins and minerals you need to nurture your body, and detoxifying herbs will aid in the cleansing process. Psyllium husks will provide cleansing bulk and help stave off physical hunger. Self-administered enemas are done twice daily to help the body to eliminate toxins. (Fasting is not safe for people who are very underweight, clinically obese, pregnant, diabetic, suffering from kidney disease or certain cancers. Please contact us if you have any concerns about your health that you would like to discuss further before arrival).
